LOUVRE and a Meat Basket.

On Sundays, almost everything is closed in Paris. However, the Louvre, which is almost a village in itself is open. Today me and Katie went exploring , and here are some highlights. To get us started, above is a gnome riding a snail.

It was placed over the mouth of the dead for grecoroman funerary services.

this is a meat basket. Not at the louvre, but rather a medieval tavern like establishment. We thought it might just be for decoration? But as we watched our fellow patrons cut nibblebits off, we realized it served a practical function as well.
